Let me begin with a clip from one of my previous writings from the Series entitled, Tolerance and Intolerance.  “We hear a lot
about “Tolerance” these days; one of the two major political groups here in the U.S.A. is constantly telling people that we
must have understanding and we must tolerate people that disagree with us, even people whose morality (or lack thereof) is
opposed to what we believe.” It is doubtful that anyone would disagree that this has been the battle cry of one of our particular
political parties for a long time! I want to go on record saying that I support such tolerance 100%! This is something I have
always been adamant about for as long as I remember; for example, I have always stated that what consenting adults do behind
closed doors is their business, and it is between them, (and God) providing there is consent of both parties involved. This includes
homosexual practices! Just as our constitution guarantees certain rights and freedoms, the Bible has a similar guarantee, the
right to choose!  There is no doubt that the Bible speaks out against homosexuality. There are so many references, but rather
than just listing them, I will provide these references during the course of this series as we go along. Homosexuality is referred to
as sexual impurity in the Bible; another term that is used is vile and degrading passions. I can go on, but the point is simply that
the Bible teaches that the practice of homosexuality goes against God’s will and His Word. In the Old Testament God went so far
as to eliminate many people who committed this sin as demonstrated in Sodom and Gomorrah; people engaging in this practice
were to be stoned to death according to Mosaic Law! Many might say that God is being unreasonable to make such demands,
but I look at it this way; if He indeed created everything in the universe, He has the right to make the rules, wouldn’t you agree?
What is important to us at this juncture in our study, is how do our political beliefs, and our moral beliefs line up with the Bible, if
indeed we claim to be Christian. How does the platform of our political party of choice line up with the Bible?
It is important to note that one does not necessarily have to “Condone” something in order to be “Tolerant” of something.
For example, sometimes we as parents might tolerate some misbehavior of our children. That does not mean we now condone
misbehavior. I have known people in the past who were homosexuals and I did not know it for a long time. They pretty much kept
it to themselves. When I found out that they were homosexual, I did not treat them any differently than I did before. I did not
shun them, I did not make fun of them, I did not hate them! I tolerated the choice they made, but I still did not condone their
lifestyle.  The biggest difference we see today is the fact that people engaging in homosexual lifestyles today are not satisfied
with others simply tolerating their lifestyle, they are insisting that everyone condones it as well! An important aspect of tolerance
that seems overlooked in our society is that tolerance is a “Two Way Street.” Once again, I am sure everyone reading this will
agree with that statement. But what many do not seem to realize is that although many people agree, many do not practice
what they preach; especially those favoring one political party in particular, which just so happens to be the one  that harps on
people the most concerning tolerance. That particular political party is in fact the most intolerant of all. In your opinion, which
political party fits in this description the best? What do you base your answer on, fact or propaganda? The following is some
“food for thought:” About two weeks prior to this writing there were demonstrations taking place in the state of Oregon
concerning some political points of view. What those points were is not important to this illustration, however, what is important
is the fact that people showed up bearing weapons such as Billy Clubs and the like! One member of a group that calls themselves
“The Proud Boys” which is predominantly right leaning politically, was attacked with a tire iron by a member of the group called
“ANTIFA” which favors the political left, causing severe injury to the victim’s head.
We may never know who was the true instigator of this attack, but one thing that seems to be a given is that where ANTIFA
is, there Will Be Violence! This is a simple fact.

This group claims to be on the side of tolerance however, this is only true if you agree with them. If you do not believe me,
simply walk down the street with a “Make America Great Again” hat on when ANTIFA is in the area; let me know how that works
out for you. You will be attacked both verbally and physically! Years ago, people also disagreed concerning political issues, but
violence like this was rare compared to today. So how do you personally feel about the homosexuality issue? Do you show
tolerance for the homosexual community? Do you condone the homosexual lifestyle? Now for the big question, especially if you
claim to be Christian (or a Christ Follower). How do your answers line up with the Word of God? Here is another big question,
“How do you treat people who disagree with your feelings on the subject?” Do you show tolerance concerning with those of
whom you disagree, or do you insist that they condone this lifestyle? These are very important questions, because the Bible
makes it very clear how God feels about the subject. Therefore, if you claim to be a Christ follower, you really do have to choose
as exemplified by the words of Jesus Himself:
Revelation 3:15-16 (NKJV)
15  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16  So then, because you are lukewarm,
and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

In conclusion, the Word of God clearly states that The Homosexual Lifestyle is sinful and wrong. This is not a matter of
opinion; it is the written Word of God! You can debate this as long and hard as you like, but the Word of God does not change, it
never was nor will it ever be a matter of Social Opinion. So ask yourself the question, “What do I believe and why do I believe it?”
Then ascertain how your belief fits in with the Word of God. Then determine if your political party of choice goes along with the
Word of God or with social opinion. The next issue we will address is the Trans Gender Issue including the new push for Drag
Queen Story Tellers holding sessions with young children. Is this a lesson of tolerance for our children or is it indoctrination?  Here
